Imagine meeting a black bear or building your home like a beaver. These animals live in the wild, so we don’t get to spend time with them in their natural homes – their habitats. But that doesn’t mean we can’t find out more about where they live, how they play and how we can help them! Register online at www.ncarboretumregistration.org. Contact Jonathan Marchal, Youth Education Coordinator, at 828-665-2492 ext. 228 with questions. Girls are welcome to attend without adults in attendance. Arboretum educators serve as adults required for safety ratios; prefer no more than two Girl Scout leaders. Girl Scouts are encouraged with groups/troops that register together to meet safety ratios. Parking fee waived for participants.

GRADE LEVEL: Girl Scout Juniors (grades 4-5) and troop leaders

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Until Full

GIRL FEE: $10

BRING: water bottle, suitable clothes for the weather, completed permission/health form for girls attending individually
