Hey parents, are you looking to get those loose ends tied up before the holiday season begins? We are going to give you the weekend to yourself while we have fun with your girls at camp! This overnight will include winter-themed crafts, activities and a service project to help others. We will also explore how our Girl Scouting and Guiding sisters from across the world celebrate the holiday season through their traditions and cultures during a special evening program.

GIRL FEE: $50

Ready to earn your Girl Scout Junior Horseback Riding badge? Come spend the day learning about horses, getting to know the Circle C herd and riding! This program is for Individually Registered Girl Scouts or troops with less than six girls, who want to earn the badge, or girls in a troop that is not interested in the horse badge.

GIRL FEE: $34

BRING: sack lunch, water bottle, sturdy shoes or closed-toe footwear (rain boots that don’t allow the ankle or heel to flex are not ideal); wear suitable clothing for the weather – remember it is always hotter or colder at the barn than it is at your house so wear or bring extra layers, including a warm hat and gloves, not mittens, that allow for finger dexterity

Parents, would you enjoy some extra Christmas shopping or a night out? Then drop your girls off at our “Who-house” for a “Grinch-mas” celebration! Just look for the “Who- wreath” on the front door! Dress up as your favorite “Who!” Fun crafts, good deeds, a “who-liday T-shirt, and lots of sweet treats galore, will surely make this a “who-riffic” fun day! Please bring a canned good to donate to local food bank.

Outdoor Club – Hiking Glassy Mountain @ Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site

Get out and hike! Join a Girl Scout Outdoor Club Volunteer on a three-mile roundtrip hike up Glassy Mountain. Enjoy the beautiful views and spend a little time where author and poet Carl Sandburg got some of his inspiration.

The Girl Scout Cookie Program is an integral part of Girl Scouting’s financial literacy initiative for girls ages 5-17. Girls develop FIVE life skills as a result of participation in the cookie program including goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics.
