Gold and Silver Award Chat Session @ Girl Scout Learning Center

Attend a chat session to learn more about earning the Gold Award or Silver Award. Girls are REQUIRED to attend a live chat or view the video option prior to beginning either their Gold or Silver Award project. Leaders and/or parents are welcome to attend free of charge. See the award requirements on the P2P website for more information on chat sessions and the chat session video option if you are unable to attend a live chat.

Join us for the second annual council-wide camporee! Girls will participate in activities that will challenge their mind, body and Girl Scout skills. Most activities will be included in registrations; some have a small fee. Troops are welcome to come as a group, or girls are welcome to come with a registered adult of their choice. *NOTE – Troops who earned the Early Bird status by June 16 get first priority for this popular annual event. Please see options below for fees and sleeping options.

GRADE LEVEL: All Girl Scouts (grades K-12) and troop leaders, parents

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: September 18, 2014

GIRL/ADULT FEES:

  • Sleep in cabin – $35
  • Sleep in tent (set up by staff) – $25
  • Sleep in tent (bring your own) – $20

BRING: sleeping bag, pillow, flashlights, pajamas, toiletries, change of clothes, water bottle, rain gear, tennis shoes and suitable clothes for the weather

Girl Scouts will be inspired by the lovely pastel drawings and paintings by Wolf Kahn in the Museum before they try their hand at making their own pastel landscape. Get ready to put leadership skills into action! Come to the program center for this overnight that will prepare girls to earn their Program Aide recognition. Snacks and Saturday breakfast and lunch are included in the fee. Sleeping is on foam mattresses. LiA award recommended as a pre-requisite.
