Advanced Horse Rider Workshop @ Keyauee Program Center
Mar 23 @ 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm

Prerequisite: Intermediate Horse Rider
This three-hour program helps girls practice and refine riding skills learned in Intermediate Horse Rider. The girls will groom and tack horses and learn more about the basic needs and care of horses. The arena lesson will focus on developing a solid position, confidence and control at trot. This event is intended for troops with less than four members or individual registered Girl Scouts. If you would like to register a larger troop for this workshop, please contact Circle C Ranch.

Welcome to a crazy carnival of your own creation. Explore simple machines as you build a merry-go-round, a bean-bag toss and a race car. Levers, pulleys, screws and gears abound as you engineer the ultimate playground. *Girls must attend both sessions to complete this Techbridge Box.

The Human Race 5K @ Greensboro Coliseum

Time to pull out the walking and running shoes and come help raise awareness for Girl Scouts at the Human Race 5K.  The event is open to everyone. And girls who train for this walk/run also have the chance to earn the Thin Mint Sprint patch. Click here for additional details!

Bricks 4 Kidz: Spin Art and Jewelry Making @ Hickory Service Center

Create works of art using ordinary objects! Build a spin art model and use it to create an original piece. Afterwards, create custom jewelry out of LEGOS®.
