Discover rock climbing! Join Thrifty Adventures for a half-day introduction to the awesome sport of rock climbing. No experience necessary. During this course you will learn basic knots, climbing techniques, safety practices and checks, as well as climbing terms and lingo.
Please Note: The approach to the climbing area is less then a 1/2 mile on a gravel trail with little change in elevation. There is a short staircase down to the climbing area that is steep. Thrifty Adventures will have guides spotting everyone as they descend the stairs; if needed the guides can carry your bag down the stairs for added safety!
Participants must provide their own transportation to site and must provide their own food and plenty of water. Climbing gear provided by Thrifty Adventures. If the morning session fills, an afternoon session is available. If we happen to fill both sessions, Thrifty Adventures will open the following Sunday. To learn more and access the waiver, please visit Thrifty Adventures.
