The Amazing Daisy- Plant,Water,Grow! @ WNC Nature Center
May 10 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

A garden is a fantastic place to work with plants, get your hands dirty and watch life as it surrounds the flowers we plant. Learn about a plant’s life cycle and the parts of a plant. Learn easy steps to plant, water, grow!

What does it take to prepare the land? Which plants should I grow? How do I plant it? Get the answers to these great questions during our session. After the event, girls can maintain the gardens on a leisurely basis since the center will not need to be open for you since the garden will be outside the Center’s gates. We also have several shrubs that need planting next spring for our future butterfly garden. Be sure to take the time to visit with all the animals at the WNC Nature Center.

The Amazing Daisy- Plant, Water, Grow! activities can be applied to all three Girl Scout Journey books and the Daisy Petals from the Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting.
