March Celebrates National Women’s History Month

During the month of March, we celebrate the strong women leaders who have been innovative risk-takers in our Women's History Monthhistory, forging ahead to make a difference in how we do things in our world today.

The Girl Scout history is also filled with those women who decided to take a stand and push girls and women to new limits. One such women is one of our very own, Mary Ann Scarlette of Greensboro, whose dedication to Girl Scouting, spanning  over 70 years of involvement with the organization, helped start the Campus Girl Scouts in her area in 1979.
