shopping_cart_graphicHey, Girl Scout on-the-move, where do you go for all of your Girl Scout gear and more? To one of our council shops, of course! We have Girl Scout stores in five locations throughout central and western North Carolina, and we carry all the essentials you need to get your Girl Scout groove on. Petals, patches, badges, sashes, vests and all the rest, you will find it at one of our shops. Or, you can shop the convenience of ONLINE 24/7!

We are open Monday to Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and select evenings and Saturdays.

The four council shop locations will stay open on Thursdays until 7 p.m. by appointment only. Volunteers and parents need to schedule these appointments by 3 p.m. on Monday by e-mailing one of the local shops to confirm the appointment with a team services representative.

We accept the following forms of payment: cash, check, American Express, Discover, MasterCard or VISA. We ask for ID with all credit card and check purchases made in the shop.

Shop Return Policy

A receipt is required for refunds or exchanges. Refunds or exchanges must be completed within 30 days of purchase. Items must be current unused/unworn and in original packaging with original tags. Clearance and discontinued items may not be exchanged or refunded. The merchandise may be exchanged or refunded in any of the GSCP2P council shop locations. Only merchandise purchased from a GSCP2P shop will be exchanged or refunded.

Purchases made by cash will be processed within 14 days after merchandise is returned. A council check will be issued for the purchase amount.

Purchases made by check will have an additional 7 days added to the processing time allowing the check to clear the bank before a refund is issued. A council check will be issued to you for the purchase amount within 21 days.

Purchases made by debit or credit card will be processed immediately and will be refunded on the same card used at the time of purchase. Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont does not retain credit card information and you must present the original card used for us to be able to credit your account.

Online Shop Return Policy / Refunds

Returns are easy, and for most returns, you do not need to contact customer service. Follow these simple guidelines. Within 30 days after receiving your shipment, you may return any item except final-sale and clearance merchandise. For your protection, we recommend that you use United Parcel Service, FedEx or insured Parcel Post, and wrap the package securely.

Always include a copy of your packing list with a notation indicating:

The exact nature of the problem (such as damaged, wrong size/color).

  1. The corrective action you are requesting (refund or exchange for a different size of color of same item purchased).
  2. Your daytime telephone and/or fax number.

If you do not have your packing slip, please indicate the order number (if available) and the name and address of the person who purchased the order on a separate piece of paper. We will refund or credit the value of the item and any taxes you were charged.

Note that shipping and handling fees are not refundable, unless the return resulted from our error. Please allow approximately 14 business days after we’ve received your return for the refund to be processed. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase.

Note that merchandise purchased online may not be returnable at retail shops. Please check with your local retail shop for their policy.

The Gastonia Service Center and Shop is scheduled to re-locate in March. Until then, please call or e-mail to schedule appointments with staff.

Please note that the Gastonia Shop will not be open on a Saturday in March in preparation for moving to the new location.

If you have immediate Girl Scout merchandise needs, you have the following options to consider:

The Hickory Council Shop is open during regular business hours, Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. During cookie season, it is also open on the following Fridays from 8:30 am. to 5 p.m. – January 23 and 30; February 6, 13, 20 and 27. It is also open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. during cookie season on the following Saturdays – January 24 and 31; February 7, 14, 21 and 28. The Hickory Council Shop is approximately 38 miles from the Gastonia Service Center.

You are welcome to call or e-mail in your order. Until we are firmly situated in our new office, Gastonia customers will receive free shipping on all phone and e-mail orders. Orders can be e-mailed to our shop staff Susanna or Julie or can be called in at 704-864-3245.

Susanna or Julie will provide evening deliveries at the old New Hope Road Service Center parking lot. You can choose anytime between 5-6 p.m. Monday through Thursday to come by and pick up your purchases, if you contact Susanna or Julie by 3 p.m. that day.
