Learn about the amazing ecosystems all around us and what you can do to help protect them at our Eco Hero theme week at Camp Ginger Cascades!
Campers of all ages will spend time in the outdoors learning how to be a guest in nature’s home, taking responsibility for their actions outdoors and making a positive impact on the environment. In addition to traditional camp activities such as archery, boating and climbing wall, campers will also learn about the Leave No Trace principles, take conservation hikes, practice eco-friendly camping techniques and brainstorm ways to be kind to the outdoors and to our fellow Girl Scouts – all while exploring nature.
Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors will be going on field trips to supplement the activities that we are doing at camp! Cadettes will go on a hiking trip to Mt. Mitchell State Park to explore the highest peak east of the Mississippi River.
