Location: Camp Ginger Cascades (Lenoir, NC)
Join us on a trip to enjoy the beautiful fall foliage at Elk Knob State Park during peak leaf season! We will pick you up at the Triad Service Center Friday evening and spend the night at Camp Ginger Cascades. We will wake up Saturday morning and drive to the park to summit Elk Knob. This is a moderate 3.8 mile hiking trail. Please come prepared for this uphill hike on rocky terrain with your hiking gear! We will then go back to relax at Camp Ginger Cascades after our action-packed day. Sunday morning, we will drive you back to the Triad Service Center for pickup. Great for girls that love camping, hiking and spending time outdoors! Please note that this is an overnight event. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided on Saturday, as well as breakfast on Sunday. Dinner on Friday is not provided, so girls should eat before pickup. Girls should bring bedding along with any other overnight supplies they need.
