Location: Camp Ginger Cascades (Lenoir, NC)
This GSCP2P-designed leadership course is required to complete the Program Aide Award. All Cadettes are invited to attend Program Aide training on their way to completing the steps of the Program Aide Award. This training involves learning to work with children and modifying activities for special needs and situations. You will put your new skills to the test with hands-on activities that will prepare you for real life situations working with younger girls at a troop, day camp, council or service unit event. This program is great for girls who want to take on new leadership roles and learn more about working with children. Please note that this is an overnight event. Lunch and dinner will be provided on Saturday, as well as breakfast on Sunday. Girls should bring bedding along with any other overnight supplies they need.
