Meet Our CEO
Jennifer has served as the CEO of Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont since July 2021, after having served most recently as the Senior Director of National Events at Girl Scouts of the USA. During her tenure at the national office, Jennifer led the G.I.R.L. 2020 team until the COVID-19 cancellation in April 2020. She then played a leadership role in the creation, curation and execution of the first-ever virtual 55th National Council Session, which took place in October 2020. Her leadership also resulted in the successful execution of the first-ever virtual Council Staff Summit and Leadership Summit in spring 2021.
Jennifer has previously served at Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana in a number of C-suite roles, including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Marketing and Development Officer. She also was CEO and owner of Jennifer Wilcox Consulting for nearly a decade, a non-profit and community development consulting firm working in Indiana and Kentucky. In her early career, Jennifer served as the Associate Economic Development Director for the City of Jeffersonville, Jennifer’s hometown.
Jennifer brings executive leadership expertise in the areas of operations management, fund development, grant research and proposal preparation, strategic planning, organizational development planning and consultation, meeting preparation and facilitation, marketing and public relations consultation and program evaluation consultation. Jennifer has a B.A. from the University of Evansville in Political Science and French and an M.A. from Webster University in Business Management with specialization in Marketing and Human Resources Development.
