Circle C Equestrian Center is located on the Keyauwee Program Center property in Sophia and operates year-round providing riding lessons, Girl Scout riding programs and summer camp.
At the Circle C, staff provide a high caliber of instruction and safety by providing professional, experienced instructors. All riders are carefully matched with one of our well-mannered, seasoned school horses for an enjoyable experience. The facilities include a lighted, indoor arena to comfortably ride in any weather, an outdoor arena, 14-stall barn and miles of trails for exploring.
Both individual and troop riding programs are available throughout the year, as well as private, semi private and group riding lessons. For more information about Circle C programs, please contact us here.
Troop Horse Programs
We have horse programs for all age levels with the option to
introduce girls to horses, earn badges or develop their equestrian
skills. We have sessions for troops that are interested in bringing
multiple girls to the barn and sessions for individual girls who want
to participate in a program, but don't have a troop to go with. Find
upcoming troop horse programs here.
Riding Instructor-in-Training Program
Volunteers are an integral piece to the Circle C Equestrian
Center. Our most popular volunteer program is our Riding
Instructor-in-Training program (also known as RIIT program) for girls
13 years and older. Adults with or without a horse background are also
welcome to join the training program. Learn
