Location: Circle C Equestrian Center (Sophia, NC)
Spend your whole day (9 a.m. - 3 p.m.) at the barn growing your riding and horse handling skills, in addition to participating in a unique, activity-based educational program, Equi-Scholars, that teaches riders to better understand equine behavior. Campers will need to bring a packed lunch. Long pants, closed-toed shoes or boots are required. Riding helmets are provided.
This day camp for girls in grades 2-5 is perfect for new or infrequent riders. Each day will include a riding lesson, horsemanship activities, horse care and horse-themed crafts. On Friday, invite your friends and family to take a barn tour and meet your favorite horses.
