Location: Circle C Equestrian Center (Sophia, NC)
Spend your whole day (9 a.m. - 3 p.m.) at the barn growing your riding and horse handling skills, in addition to participating in a unique, activity-based educational program, Equi-Scholars, that teaches riders to better understand equine behavior. Campers will need to bring a packed lunch. Long pants, closed-toed shoes or boots are required. Riding helmets are provided.
This day camp is for riders grades 4-12 and RIITs currently enrolled in Circle C Equestrian Center’s weekly lesson program or RIIT program. Work on and test your skills. Each rider will have goals for the week and on Friday will have the opportunity to test for their next Horse Sense Learning Level.
