Do you girls want to backpack, testing their strength and skill and
ability to care for themselves?
Join us for an overnight
Backpacking training weekend.
After achieving this course
volunteers can take girls on overnight backpacking trips. This can
include established or non-established camp sites that are located
more than 30-minute walk from vehicle.
A level 2 first-aider
with Wilderness and Remote First Aid must also be present on the trip.
*NOTE: Backpacking Pre-session (planning) meeting (REQUIRED) Virtual
class on April 2 2026
This is a two-part training; you must
complete both parts in order to receive certification.
