Join us for a day of hands-on discovery at P2P Curiosity Quest! Girl Scouts will explore interactive STEM stations led by community experts and organizations. Activities include building mini aquaponics systems, creating simple electrical circuits, designing a green city, exploring horse genetics, investigating stream health by studying aquatic insects, learning about composting and food waste solutions and discovering dog safety and training with AKC ambassadors.
Participants will have the opportunity to select their session before the event so they can dive deeper into the topics that interest them most.
The event will also feature a special guest speaker, Dr. Mary Lynne Dittmar, President and CEO of Dittmar Associates. With more than 30 years of research focused on helping humans live and work in space, she currently advises NASA on the future of human space exploration.
This event is open to everyone- bring your troop, friends and family! Girl Scout membership is not required, but memberships will be available on-site. Come see how Girl Scouting can spark new ideas and inspire the next generation of innovators! Museum admission is included in the event fee, so you can continue exploring after the event.
