Location: Carswell Hall - Wake Forest University (1834 Wake Forest Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27109)
Get ready for a one-of-a-kind college adventure with the incredible
Kappa Deltas of Wake Forest University! This isn't just an event- it's
an experience designed to spark excitement, build confidence and show
Girl Scouts what's possible.
Your day begins in Carswell Hall,
home of the Department of Communications. From there, you'll explore
campus on a Kappa Delta-led walking tour, discovering favorite spots,
insider tips and what life at Wake Forest is really like.
Throughout the day, Girl Scouts will dive into fun breakout sessions
with Kappa Deltas based on different interests - from leadership and
academics to campus life and personal growth. While the Girl Scouts
connect with collegiate mentors, parents are invited to attend a
special admissions session with a Wake Forest representative. The day
wraps up with a big panel conversation featuring Kappa Delta members
who will share their college journeys, answer questions and talk about
how Girl Scouts has shaped their leadership and success. Lunch and
sweet treats are included! This event is open to Girl Scouts in grades
8-11 from across North Carolina and parents are welcome to attend.
This can be a drop-off event, but adults are welcome to stay and join
the parent admissions session. This event is hosted by the Girl
Advisory Board members.
