Ready to help your community and earn one of the highest awards in Girl Scouting? Cadettes can team up with a small group of fellow Girl Scouts or work on their own. To earn the Silver Award, you will research an issue you care about, make a plan to address it and then take action to improve your community.
Are in sixth, seventh, or eighth grade (or equivalent)
Are a registered Girl Scout Cadette
Have completed a Cadette Journey
This training provides Girl Scout Cadettes, parents and troop leaders with a basic understanding of the requirements and guidelines for earning the Girl Scout Silver Award, as well as an in-depth exploration into Take Action project standards. Training is NOT a required prerequisite of earning the Girl Scout Silver Award. Find upcoming trainings on our calendar.

Our Girl Scout Silver Award Committee is accepting applications! Girl Scout Silver Award Committee members review Girl Scout Silver Award Intent Forms and provide guidance to those working on projects. Interested applicants need to have a strong interest in working with middle school ages girls. Experience with Highest Awards is preferred, but not required. Interested?
