Program Aide Training

Program Aide Training
Program Aide is open to all Girl Scout Cadettes  as an opportunity to develop leadership skills and confidence in working with younger Girl Scouts by sharing their skills, passion and experience. Program Aides might assist younger girls on Journey activities, badge activities or other sessions at their meetings, at a day camp or during a council event.

There are several Program Aide trainings scheduled each year. Check the online calendar for more details. Program Aide training is also offered on a service unit level via volunteer facilitators. Check with your service unit specialist for your area’s Program Aide facilitator.

Volunteer-In-Training

Volunteer-In-Training
Experienced Program Aides can take the next step in their leadership of younger girls by becoming a volunteer-in-training! A three-hour course is required before working with a troop or group to earn the VIT pin.

There are several trainings scheduled each year. Check the online calendar for more details.
