The Swannanoa Valley Museum and History Center teaches girls about the culture and history of the valley and southern Appalachia. Earn the Textiles and Patterns fun patch when you learn the use and meaning of historic patterns and textiles in the Swannanoa Valley as well as the weaving traditions of Cherokee peoples.
