We introduce Girl Scouts of every age to the world of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) to help them see the many ways they can actually work to improve their world. Whether they're discovering how a car's engine runs, learning how to manage finances or caring for animals- it all has to do with STEM!
Did you know that we have Ozobots available for you to use? With our Program Check Out Boxes you can do an obstacle course with your new robot friend, have it spin in circles or walk backwards! Get an introduction to robots and speaking their language (code) in a fun and easy way.
Program Check Out Boxes are available to help you explore Citizen Scientist Journeys (Stream Mapping It, Observing Pollinators and Light in the NIght Sky). Girl Scouts of the USA and SciStarter worked together to create this interactive journey where girls participate in real science! Girl Scouts collect and share data that is used by scientists in their research to answer important questions.
